Periodical and Microfilm/Microfiche Search and Photocopy Fees

At this time, we regret that photocopies of obituaries are not available.

Newspapers/Periodicals:

If the date of the article or event is known:

            An advanced payment of $25.00 for each item requested will entitle you to:
            a.       A search through library holdings
            b.      A maximum of four (4) photocopies. A charge of $1.00 will be applied for each additional page.
            c.       Return postage.

If the exact date is unknown then an approximate date must be given:

            An advanced payment of $35.00 for each item requested will entitle you to:
            a.       A 15 minute search through holdings focusing on and around the date supplied.
            b.      A maximum of four (4) photocopies. A charge of $1.00 will be applied for each additional page.
            c.       Return postage.

Searches are conducted using available library resources only.  Vineland’s local newspaper files are available from January 1876 through the present (with gaps).  All but the current year are accessible on 35mm microfilm.  The local paper is not indexed.

We do not make our microfilm or microfiche available though Interlibrary Loan.
